Questions
Does the Toyota Highlander have any tire or wheel recalls?
NHTSA lists 3 tire or wheel recalls for the Toyota Highlander between 2015-2027: 24V452000 (2021-2024), 24V419000 (2022-2024), 17V295000 (2017). Check your own vehicle by VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls; open recalls are repaired free by the dealer.
What wheel and tire size does the Toyota Highlander take?
It depends on the year and trim. The factory size is on the sticker inside the driver's door jamb; the number after the R is the wheel diameter. For a bigger wheel, keep the new tire within about 3% of that height so the speedometer stays accurate: the tire size calculator lists the sizes for any wheel diameter.
